Being a Wedding Officiant is Rachel’s way to honour her late parents who also worked in the wedding industry during their 46 year marriage. Ted Morris is a creative writer, a retired journalist and broadcaster, and an outdoorsman. Much of his pleasures comes from canoeing, sailing, swimming and flying. He has visited cathedrals and chapels of Europe, shrines of India, Nepal, and Japan, and sees a piece of The Almighty in every individual. Ted studied humanities at McMaster, Scottish Country dancing and Celtic culture at the Haliburton School of the Arts, and was ordained an Episcopal priest in 2002. I’m a Queens Graduate (92) with my own law practice and I teach part time in the Para Legal program at Humber College. I am also an appointed Designated Minister so I am open to many paths. I live in Etobicoke but serve a large part of the GTA including downtown. I love meeting and interacting with new people as well as advocating for people who cannot advocate for themselves. In my younger days I also completed several half-marathons, duathlons and triathlons. I hold out hope that I will one day finish a full marathon and maybe an Ironman Triathlon! Besides travelling, I enjoy experimenting with vegetarian cooking, and organizing and participating in activities with family and friends, including my 9 godchildren and 15 nieces and nephews.
