Being a wedding officiant is Rachel’s way to honour her late parents who also worked in the wedding industry during their 46 year marriage. El-Farouk is our pastoral ambassador to the Rainbow Muslim Community in Toronto creating dialogue and deepening relations between the two faiths. He lives in the city with his husband and 3 cats. He has been a Designated Minister with Clergy Support since Oct 2016. El-Farouk has been celebrating and supporting same-sex and mixed-sex Life Celebrations for many years. In addition to this ministry, he is also a refugee lawyer who represents refugees, primarily those fleeing persecution due to their gender, sexual orientation/gender identity and/or HIV status. His ministry also includes being a human rights and spirituality activist which is expressed in his work as the co-founder of the Toronto Unity flagship El-Tawhid Juma Circle network of LGBTIQA affirming, gender equality in mosques. He is eager to work with any and all couples in creating a celebration of your love that affirms who you are.
Janice Lives in North York just off the Don Valley and Eglington but serves a wide area of Toronto including downtown. She has been officiating weddings since 2007. Janice is a published author and a long-time grief counsellor. Whether you desire to blend traditions in a new way or create a new one, your wedding ceremony requires someone to listen supportively and guide with sensitivity and experience, to help make it uniquely your own. My wife and I are long-time residents of Mississauga. My public speaking skills along with my years of meditative teachings will be at your disposal. I look forward to meeting you! My spiritual journey in all things wellness began while travelling in Southern California where I started to meditate, practice and later teach Yoga. This led me to study Comparative Religions at York University and California State University . I then completed my Master’s Degree in Hindu Religious History at McMaster University. Reza speaks fluent English and Farsi (Persian) so he is able to conduct your wedding ceremony in English or Farsi (Persian). Reza was born in Iran but has lived in Canada for over 20 years. Professionally, he has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Strayer University, USA, and has worked as a licenced Paralegal in Immigration for the Iranian-Canadian community for over 10 years. Helping others to get married, settle down, and began their new life in Canada is very gratifying work. He has been marrying couples since early 2017.
I’m a Queens Graduate (92) with my own law practice and I teach part-time in the Para Legal program at Humber College. I am also an appointed Designated Minister so I am open to many paths. I live in Etobicoke but serve a large part of the GTA including downtown. I love meeting and interacting with new people as well as advocating for people who cannot advocate for themselves. In my younger days I also completed several half-marathons, duathlons and triathlons. I hold out hope that I will one day finish a full marathon and maybe an Ironman Triathlon! Besides travelling, I enjoy experimenting with vegetarian cooking, and organizing and participating in activities with family and friends, including my 9 godchildren and 15 nieces and nephews.
David has presided at almost 100 weddings, funerals, and countless baptisms in the GTA area; offering experienced pastoral guidance to families gathering for life’s important moments. David holds both a bachelor’s degree in theology and a Master of Divinity from Huron University College. For most of David’s adult life, he served as a street-involved pastor in urban churches in Toronto and London. His major focus of ministry has been related to social outreach, restorative justice, and learning to wrestle with life and faith in the rapidly evolving social media age. David is an active minister of Clergy Support Memorial and still enjoys a game of football with his son and the neighborhood kids.

<p>Charles is an award-winning and much in-demand wedding officiant. Charles lives in the Toronto Riverdale community with his wife Melinda and cat, Chimo. A long-time facilitator and public speaker supporting his community, Charles can bring a spark and sense of fun and connection to your wedding ceremony. His favourite hobby is cycling on the roads and trails of Toronto, or baking and trying out new recipes. Charles has helped families with patient advocacy for ALS Ontario, the Canadian Diabetes Association, and the Canadian Association of Wound Care. Aestus (Ace for short) was born and raised in Newfoundland and has lived more than 20 years in downtown Toronto. Aestus has a positive outlook on life with a slightly offbeat sense of humor to balance it out. He has been a Registered Nurse for 20 years after training at George Brown College, and worked for a decade at Casey House in HIV/AIDS care, and more recently moved into the fast-paced environment of an operating room. Aestus' experience makes him comfortable with very emotional people and groups, and very competent in handling stressful situations. He has performed hundreds of ceremonies over the past few years and is an expert in making you and your family comfortable, relaxed, and happy. He is comfortable working in all situations and looks forward to helping tailor a ceremony that reflects your unique needs. He believes in and supports inclusivity and diversity, and some of his favorite wedding memories are from non-traditional families and venues. Jeff is an easy going, dedicated pastor who has been serving their community for over 10 years, and holds a BA double major in Theology and Philosophy from Tyndale University. Jeff speaks fluent Hebrew and is comfortable conducting interfaith Jewish ceremonies, as well ceremonies for all genders. They pastor an online community of LGBTQ2PIA+ people and allies called Chosen Family Church which meets biweekly over Zoom. When not doing ministry things, Jeff works with adults with autism and spends his free time writing, making music, and digital painting. Jeff has been featured in articles on Religion News Service for their TikTok channel talking about queer theology and deconstruction.</p>
